We are a family robotics team from the DFW area of Texas. We love building whatever projects we can think of and competing in a wide variety of events related to robotics. But we’ve also learned that we are just as passionate about helping others with their own building projects.
How we got to where we are as a team is kind of a weird story.
Chase started to show an interest in building at a very young age. But it wasn’t until he was about 9 or 10 that we started to realize how special he was going to be.
It was at that point that we had him start competing in a few of the Vex High School tournaments. It didn’t take long to realize that Chase was extremely talented in all aspects of engineering. Once we saw that, we took the guardrails off and let his building imagination run wild.
He has gone from building Lego Technics cars when he was nine to now where he’s designing his own custom circuit boards and engineering innovative new components for his BattleBots. It is truly amazing to watch him work.
Landon definitely didn’t start out as a builder. In the beginning, we needed someone to help Chase with his Vex team and – being a good brother – Landon stepped up. As a part of our Vex team, he handled all of our in-game strategy, scouted out our alliance partners, and made all of our video content.
To this day, he says he didn’t do anything valuable at those tournaments. But the truth is that he was absolutely critical to all of our success in VRC.
It might have been while he was making the videos about our Vex tournaments that Landon started to realize that he was interested in drones. He fought it for a while, but as soon as he started flying it was obvious that drones are his THING. You will never see Landon happier than when he is talking about his drones.
He is currently racing drones both IRL and on multiple simulators in addition to learning to fly cinematic drones. It’s going to be exciting to see all the videos he’s going to create over the next few years.

Our dad wasn’t always a builder. Which is funny because in the early days of our team, some people thought that he was building the robots for Chase. In reality, it was actually the opposite – Chase taught Dad most of what he knows about building.
Even though Dad wasn’t a builder, he has always loved motorsports. Once he started to learn a few things about electronics by watching what Chase was doing, he realized that he could live out some of his auto racing dreams by building RC cars.
Once that fire was lit Dad was off and running with a new obsession for learning everything he can about cars. He now has five or six cars that he races with and he’s never been happier.
If you’ve known us for a while, you know that it’s taken us a while to figure out exactly how all of this was going to work. It was difficult to see how the three of us fit together. We each have interests that are related to building and electronics, but they are all still very different.
We’ve finally realized that we all need to go in our own direction, with our own Instagram accounts and our own YouTube channels… but we still support each other as one team.
Landon still makes Chase’s robot videos and even drives the bots at tournaments sometimes. Chase helps Landon learn how to build and repair his drones. Dad still supports everybody in whatever ways he can and both Chase and Landon will go race with him on occasion.
It has been an amazing journey so far. We have already accomplished more than we ever could have dreamed. At the same time, it’s easy to see that our best is still to come.
We say this a lot, but it’s true – there has never been a better time to be a builder. If you are thinking about getting started in robotics or engineering, we would love to help!!!

As a team, we have three goals that we use to guide all of our decision making:
Over the years, we’ve found that if we keep our focus on those three things success follows on its own.
